I don't notice an upward trend. It's simply that this is a popular forum so guys are quickly becoming aware of who is leaving.
As to why girls leave, usually they're not making enough money to make it worth the time and effort. More and more girls want to be MPA's because that's where the (easy) money is. Strip clubs are dead and escorting can be tough/risky. So more girls means more competition. Which means more extras. And every girl needs to determine for herself what she's comfortable with and for how much. Those who don't think it's worth it leave but far more stay because it's damn good money when you're busy and lets them lead the lifestyle they want.
