Farang, used by Thais to describe white caucasion peoples, was originally for White europeans, not denoting if they were from the south or north of europe. Now it is loosely used for any white caucasion peoples, so will include australian, american etc. Not used when describing black, asian or arabic races.

I think I can make an opinion about a person by how or what they post, how they react and what content they have in their posts. A little bit like you just did in the sentence I have used bold for in your post.

I fully accept your point, and your example of your friend. Sometimes you can make a first impression of someone and it works out to be absolutely correct, how many points did your brain consider to make that judgement call. In this case I have come to my own conclusions based on quite a number of posts.

There are plenty of single girls around if that is what you want, each to his own.

4-6pm off the beach is a good opportunity to meet the girls who are having a drink. The white or pink ones are the best to catch as they have just landed and if you have a tan you can always start to chat and tell them that you have been before and ask them if they want any advice.

You can then offer to meet up later when you have had a shower and show them around. A good fishing tip that one.

There are also a number of airlines who put their cabin crew in Patong at a number of Hotels (not telling you which ones) and you can check in advance when the crews are staying there and then go for a drink in the bar and then offer to show them around for a few days.

The Irish Bars are good as well as a place to meet singles or groups of women and if you get to know the expat managers they will point you in the right direction.

Thai women are much more beautiful, loverly eyes and smiles, slimmer figures, loverly hair and smooth silky skin and those sexy walks and accents mmmmmm

buy it is like eating a healthy diet of salad and drinking only water, every now and again you want some junk food.
