A few bait and switch? Bait and switch never happened at JR. It's JR's policy to send someone in to give the customer a little free extra massage while waiting for the girl they booked. The boss herself went in there most of the time when she's there.
Most of the waiting happened when customers in shower rooms taking long shower after their sessions without having any consideration for the next customer. I even suggested the boss to tell the girls to cut 5 minutes from shower room customers to help ease that problem, but the boss disagree.

I've no doubt that what you report is, indeed, JR policy. Nonetheless, I waited out front, 20 minutes past my reservation time, when there were no massage rooms available because they had been given to walk-ins. When I pointed out to the receptionist, a young man who looked bewildered, that he had made a serious customer-service error he just said I had to wait. Which I didn't.

This happened early last fall and I have since been back to JR and was treated well. But the issue of appointments and stacking customers up like airplanes in a holding pattern seems to be something JR falls victim to.

And that's unfortunate given the overall, excellent reputation of the spa.

Everything KJ said and then some. Started off with a hard massage with sheet - worked for 20 mins plus on all my kinks and knots - it was excellent, 9/10. Note that i only consider Mina (no longer working here) a 10/10. Mina was off the charts musculoskeletal work and I was told she was legit RMT trained - which i totally believe. Too bad she left. Anyways moving on -
Next followed with a soft oil massage - this was her proprietary technique I haven't had anyone else at JR or other semi-legit do this. Very light ticklish touch - unique and felt great. Kinda like the 'tease" but much more intentional and head to toe. Soft Oil massage 10/10.
The remainder of the session - it went on and on and on....at some point i felt bad because I didn't want to make her late for the next customer so I called for a close. Never had anyone take so much time and put so much attention into the end credits. 11/10.

She speaks english very well and is very personable and super friendly and will talk up a storm if you want that - personality - 10/10.

Remember that this was my very first session with her - but she was so friendly that it felt like it was my 5th or 6th.. I tipped her very well, never tipped this much for a 1st time session but she deserved it. Repeat? Absolutely but I am so satiated that I can wait 2 weeks.

Note for hobbyists : I am a hypochondriac and i never visit holistic, only semi-legit - everything was within semi-legit limits and was outstanding, far surpassing my expectations for a first session - our even a 3rd session for that matter. She really wanted to, and did her best to make sure I had a great session. And I did.

And the icing on the cake was meeting KJ in person after more than a year.

No wonder she is fully booked almost every day and most are repeat customers. Some see her just to chit chat and cuddle with. Some even asking her out. Nothing is impossible. Someone might get lucky one day. Be warned tho'..she is very very addictive, her charms can easily melt your heart and get you into big trouble.

Well, unfortunately it was Angela who came into the room once and told me the girl that I booked is busy and if it was ok for me to try someone else? What am I suppose to say? Again, real story as I dont make up anything to damage anyone or business. I tell it exactly the way I experienced it.

Correct Mini at JR.

I gave 9/10 because I have a zillion knots on my back (rhomboids, lower trapezius and delts are a mess) and she found them without me saying anything and really worked on them targeted. And she is very strong, made me wince a few times (in a good way). I was generous because of that. The only one stronger I have found was Amanda. And I would not say mini is RMT level. If you have ever tried Mina (with an a) - that was RMT level. If I have to compare with others for just the RMT portion ONLY, I would say Mina 10/10, Mei 9/10, Amanda 8.5/10, Selena 8/10 and Mini would be 7.5 or maybe even 8/10 - my personal subjective ranking, yours may be different. Some of her technique still needs to mature like everyone else but she is very strong and she is able to find kinks and work on them.

See this is why its hard to compare - even Mina who was a legend in RMT bit, did not execute a targeted "seek and destroy" focus on all the muscle knots on my back. Mini did that and really worked on them. They are all different styles and each has their own uniqueness. Mini told me she does it in two steps - first going hard and strong on all the muscle kinks and then in the 'soft oil' portion focussing on awakening skin sensations. She said this approach helps relax body and mind. Now i have some knowledge in this area and she is right - the RMT bit is musculo-skeletal and the soft oil part shuts down the limbic sympathetic nervous system and gets the parasympathetic nervous system activated - enhanced vagal tone, the opposite of fight or flight or what is called 'rest and relax'. It is scientifically sound and I was impressed she knew. And nobody else that I have tried had this approach. So points for a unique approach.

Everything KJ said and then some. Started off with a hard massage with sheet - worked for 20 mins plus on all my kinks and knots - it was excellent, 9/10. Note that i only consider Mina (no longer working here) a 10/10. Mina was off the charts musculoskeletal work and I was told she was legit RMT trained - which i totally believe. Too bad she left.
