Then eventually at 1 someone who i presume is Amy comes and takes me in. I ask "are you good for an hour" - she says she will confirm. Comes back and says she has an appt at 1:30 so can only do 30 mins... I guess the appointment that I had made meant nothing - which I wasn't cool with.. So I just packed up and left. She apologized multiple times and she did offer me a discount for 30 mins on room fee but i declined as all of it left a really bad taste in my mouth. I've been a regular at JR for ~ 3 years back from the days when KJ was manning the desk - and I have never had a problem before. I hope this is a one off and that they can prevent these kinds of issues. Going forward I will stick with my regulars at JR.

She apologized multiple times and she did offer me a discount for 30 mins on room fee but i declined as all of it left a really bad taste in my mouth. I've been a regular at JR for ~ 3 years back from the days when KJ was manning the desk - and I have never had a problem before. I hope this is a one off and that they can prevent these kinds of issues. Going forward I will stick with my regulars at JR.

I had a similar experience at JR for my first appointment with May years ago, That guy at reception left me wait for 30 minutes in the room resulting in trimming my session from one hour into 30 minutes. If they had scheduled the appointments with a 15-minutes cushion in between, the sessions would have gone smoothly without any complaints and the girls would not have to work with a tight schedule. The girls may rest a bit between the sessions.

I know for popular girls like Amy and Mini, the spa is trying to accommodate as many customers possible. But 30 minutes behind schedule is not acceptable for a reputable spa such as JR.

So based on KJ reviews (which I find I can trust) I booked Amy for 12;30 at JR. The guy says "10 mins late" and Im cool with that. 10 becomes 20. I ask him if I should rebook and he says no. Then eventually at 1 someone who i presume is Amy comes and takes me in. I ask "are you good for an hour" - she says she will confirm. Comes back and says she has an appt at 1:30 so can only do 30 mins... I guess the appointment that I had made meant nothing - which I wasn't cool with.. So I just packed up and left. FlyingFox and Puneet - i was totally fine to leave and waste an hour driving for nothing....and just rebook - no biggie - this is first world problems- Shit happens. We aren't getting our homes bombed. We are OK. The MPAs have a limited lifespan in the business and I absolutely don't want to harm or hurt their earning ability- i only posted because JR has been 10/10 in my experience so far and especially, I felt really disrespected as if my appt meant shit while the next appt was (for whatever reason) was so damn important. Anyway - KJ has made things right - thank you bro. Its not about $ it never was - its about respect and being acknowledged when you feel disrespected - and for that i really appreciate your offer KJ. thank you.

For the record, my friend had a sort of similar issue when KJ worked the Ellagance front desk maybe about 2 years ago or something....and KJ made it right there as well.

A few bait and switch? Bait and switch never happened at JR. It's JR's policy to send someone in to give the customer a little free extra massage while waiting for the girl they booked. The boss herself went in there most of the time when she's there.
Most of the waiting happened when customers in shower rooms taking long shower after their sessions without having any consideration for the next customer. I even suggested the boss to tell the girls to cut 5 minutes from shower room customers to help ease that problem, but the boss disagree.
