Since going to ChangPing, I have accumulate a lot of good hotel information as well as KTV, saunas, etc. I have a lot of contacts for mummys, etc.

Let me explain to you about the geography of the area first.
China is the country. ZhongGuo is the Pinyin name.
It has a lot of provinces. GuangDong is the province north of HongKong.
In Guangdong itself, there are a lot of "Areas". Hard to translate. Lets call it districts. DongGuan is such an area. ChangPing is a city located in the DongGuan District. That is why the train station in ChangPing is called DongGuan Station. DongGuan District has around 25-29 cities. Can't remember how many. Just to let you know how big is DongGuan District, it takes a car over an hour to travel, on the highway, just from one city to another.

HouJie is another city beside ChangPing. It is also located in the district of DongGuan District. It takes approximately 2 hours by car and it costs around RMB200. It has a lot of factories and a lot of large international companies are located there as well, namely Samsung, etc. The factory of Samsung is so large that it covers over 3 city blocks. To supply the demand of international business visitors, the city has a large number of 4-5 stars hotels. They can range from RMB500 to over RMB1000 per night.

HouJie - ChangShiJi Hotel/Nightclub
When I went there this time, I first visited ChangShiJi. It is a very large Hotel right on the edge of downtown. The hotel front entrance is so small and the lobby is located on the 2nd floor. Very stange. In fact, the hotel entrance is at the back of the hotel. The Nightclub entrance is very large and has hugh columns on each sides and that is at the front of the building. Funny, huh? The hotel rooms are quite large and only costs us RMB128 a night. Every room even has its own steam room. Very cheap, right?. You don't have to walk outside to get to the nightclub. A hallway on the 2nd floor will bring you to the nightclub without walking outside.

I have visited ChangShiJi everytime I go to HouJie because I know the mamasan very well. Her name is JingYan, pronounced Jinx and King together for the first syllable and Yes and Can together for the 2nd syllable. You can ask for her at the front desk of the hotel. She has grown from a few girls to over a hundred. You have to book a nightclub room before you show up. All the rooms surround a seforum.xxxe with lots of seating area. The show lounge can be viewed by 2 stories of balcony and floor seating. Can be a few hunderd customers so it is actually very big. Book a room and you can always walk out to see the show. Showtimes are unknown because I am always too busy in the rooms.

That night we did booked a room but one of her other guests had wanted the same room as well. She wanted to do something special for us so she gave us the Presidential Suite of the nightclub. There was a minimum charge of RMB5000 for a night but that wasn't applied to us because it was an exchange.

Just to tell you something about our karaoke room. It is round with glass and gold trimmings all on the wall. It has a high ceiling with chandeliers. There are 3 long sofas in the centre of the room surrounding a dance floor. Each Sofa can seat at least 6 person comfortably. At the back of the sofas are the couches that lined the room walls. Just those couches can easily seat 30 people. In the front, there are 2 bars beside a dropdown screen for the Karaoke. Just to let you visualize how big this room is, we have a group of 8 guys. There are 12 girls, 2 DJs, 1 assistant and 2 mamasans as well. All 25 of us were dancing in the middle of the dance floor with room to spare. The DJs were RMB300 tips each and the assistant is RMB100.

Now for the shocker. There are 2 different sets of girls. The cheaper ones are 200;800;1200 and the models are 300;1000;1500. To find out what the prices mean, read my first posting. Very beautiful girls. All dressed in gowns.

We didn't have to rush to get to the club this time. We got there at 7:00pm and there are still plenty around. So don't worry. We left around 2am in the morning and guess how much the bill for drinking came to be... RMB4500. Not bad for actually over 20 people.

HouJie - JiangLong Hotel/Nightclub

We decide to try someplace different this time. We walked into a nightclub at JiangLong Hotel at 7:00 without making a reservation. To our surprise, there was rooms available. It wasn't a weekend so we were lucky.

Just an additional information for you. If you book a nightclub room through a mamasan, she gets a cut from every girl that you keep for drinking or take out for the night. She makes the most if you keep her for the night. She also make a cut from a girl that you choose from another group even if she is not hers but not as much. So a mamasan will try to make you choose one from her own group. Do not be bullied into choosing one that you don't want. She'll still be earning cuts.

The fact that we walked into JiangLong Nightclub without making any reservation, will mean that no mamasan will be making cuts from all the girls, just hers if we choose them. Therefore, we did not expect any good service from any mamasan. To our surprise, there was a mamasan that not only brought us girls from her group to show, she also gave us a lot of variety from other groups. She treated us so well that she even gave us free drinks. I was very impressed with her service. She was very fair and did not force any thing on us. There was only 4 of us so we ended up with around 6 girls and a lot of booze. FYI, 2 different sets of girls as well. 200:500:800 and 200:600:1000. Lot cheaper than the first one. Great night.

One more thing before I end here. Do not walk on the streets alone, even with a girl, during the day or at night. If you do go on the streets, go in a group of 4 or more. Then it is safer. HouJie is famous for its pickpockets. They worked in groups. There was one time I was walking during noon time with my girl. Someone tried to take her cellphone out of her purse without her noticing. I saw it and I shouted at that guy. He shouted back saying he did nothing and next thing you know, 5 other guys came rushing over. I quickly backed off and walked away. No use having a confrontation. Mind you, I am a pretty big guy and I go to gym all the time but walking away is the best solution all the time. Having said that, I will still visit HouJie because this place definitely has more beautiful and classy girls than ChangPing although CP has variety.

Forgot about this. If you arrive at HongKong Airport, just go to a counter in front of the 2 arrivals exit doors. Ask one of the transportation companies for a direct bus ride to CP. Friends have told me that it is available. I hae never tried it before so would really appreciate postings by anyone who has, include price as well.

That is correct. ChangPing is a city located in the province of GuangDong.
There are several way to get there:

1. Shenzhen airport - cab will cost u roughly RMB250 and up.

2. GuangZhou airport - cab will be around RMB450 and up.

3. Shenzhen city - Take the high speed train from train station. Takes 35 mins or so and costs RMB45. The station to stop at for ChangPing is DongGuan Station. Cab ride from DongGuan Station to anywhere in ChangPing is only RMB15 for only 10 mins.

4. GuangZhou city - Take the high speed train from train station. Takes 35 mins or so and costs RMB40-50. The station to stop at for ChangPing is DongGuan Station. Cab ride from DongGuan Station to anywhere in ChangPing is only RMB15 for only 10 mins.

5. HongKong - Take the subway to HungHom Station in Kowloon. Get out and go to Train station beside subway. U can get a direct train from HungHom Train Station to DongGuan Train Station. Costs u around HKD$145 and will take around 2 Hours. Check-in at border will be at DongGuan Train Station itself. Last train is at 7pm.

Remember, there is no ChangPing Train Station. It is called DongGuan Train Station. Very important, you have to check for times and schedules if you are taking the train from ShenZhen or GuangZhou. I do not exactly remember the time for last train running from Shenzhen or GuangZhou but it should be aroung 11pm at night. From Kowloon, HongKong is around 7pm. Arrive early and better be safe than sorry.

If you are taking cabs, it would be wise to take those with licences (lighted box on the roof). Do not choose a driver who brings you to an unmarked car and claimed to give you a better price. He could bring you to some parking lot where a few guys are around to rob you. Chances are low but like I said, BETTER BE SAFE!!!

Hey Zhugege... excellent report. Is this the Changping that is about 400KM south of Huangzhou? Sometimes I've noticed that there are many cities in China with the same name, and it would really suck to roll into a town to find out your a thousand km away from your correct destination.

Just cameback from Chang Ping in July. This place is still amazing after 10 trips in a span of 3 years. Went there for the first time 3 yrs ago and could not find a better place in China. Mind you, I have been to a lot of places in China.

This place has got some new stuff going on. This is not exactly surprising because of the economic downturn, businesses have to come up with new ideas to attract clients.

This trip I was there for 12 days and have visited the following Nightclubs:
ChangPing
1. Red Lion
2. WuYueHua
3. FuHao
4. TaoYuan
HouJie
1. ChangShiJi
2. JiangLong

The prices that I would be quoting below would be in RMB and goes like this. For example, $200;$500;$800 meaning $200 would be to be with you in the karaoke room having drinks, Friendlier girls would be able to neck with you or even a even a few boob-squeeze. One F... would be $500. This $500 is $300 ontop of the original $200 so do not pay her $200 for the karaoke room and another $500 for the F. Total is just $500. If you want to keep her for the whole night, it is $800 TOTAL. So, $200 to sit, $300 for one F and another $300 to stay for the whole night. Total $800.

ChangPing - Red Lion
Pretty much the oldest hotel plus karaoke in town. This place is very safe because of its history. It has progress throughout the years to a place that men can relax and have fun without the risk of getting into trouble like being cheated by girls, mamasans, ets. For example, if you have a girl staying overnight with you in the hotel room, that girl would not be able to leave the hotel without your permission. Once a girl leaves your hotel room after "one shot", she has to pass through the lobby to exit. The security guards downstairs would not let her leave until the receptionist has called your room and confirmed that she is allowed to leave. So if a girl has taken some stuff from your room and leaves while you were sleeping, she would not be allowed to leave. Does not matter where you have picked her up from. I do not exactly know what time it ends but should be around 6-7 in the morning.
This hotel does not have lot of girls in its karaoke but I beleive one of the most well-behaved girls. Most of the mamasans there have worked for a long time and they have the expertise to teach a girl how to service a guy properly. Hotel rooms are very cheap. Worked out to be RMB198 during Sun-Thurs and RMB238 for fri and sats. Just remember to book your rooms one day in advance for fridays and saturdays. The rest of the week can be booked the same day.
The new thing happenning in RedLion Karaoke is the catwalk. If you can get to your karaoke room by 630-700pm, do not stay in the room. Stay in the catwalk area. Ask the mamasan if you do not know where it is. At around 7pm all the girls would do a catwalk by twos or threes. You would then get their numbers which is on their eforum.xxxs and give it to your "DJ". "DJ" is the person looking after your beverages in your room. Remember, there are other customers looking at the same girls, so first come first served. So if you see one that you like, pick her first and tell the DJ. The DJ will rush over and get the girl for you. The problem is, what happen if you see another in the next minute and she is better looking than the first one... Haha. You need to make a quick decision, bro. Well, its only RMB200 per girl but don't end up like a friend of mine who picked 4 numbers and did not want to give any up... What a night! Prices for girls are $200;$500;$800.

ChangPing - WuYueHua
This is a new place in town. The hotel is very new. The problem with this place is that it is not located in the centre of town. If you want to buy something from town or enjoy a meal at a local restaurant rather than the one in the hotel, you have to take a cab. Cabs are hard to get as well as it is not that frequent. Hotel is very grand and ranges from RMB350-500. Very nice rooms but little too expensive for my taste. Since I am at CP only for girls and not for a nice expensive room. The important thing is when you get a hotel room, try to get the front desk person to introduce you a mamasan that you can book a karaoke room with. I'll explain later why this is important.
Karaoke is amazing. Remeber 630pm is the magic time you have to arrive. Try to make it as soon as possible. When you get to the karaoke room, get in touch with the mamasan immediately. That is why you need to know a mamasan. Ask her to bring you to the Flower Street. Flower Street (HuaJie) is a big room with rows and rows of girls waiting to be picked. There are an estimate of at least 700-800 girls during weekdays and over 1000 girls on weekends. Trust me, it is easy to choose a pretty one out of 20-30 girls, but extremely hard to pick a pretty one out of over 500 girls. Everyone is beautiful so you would have a hard time picking. Exhausted!!! Now, if you do not get the mamasan to bring you, you are not allowed to go. After all the first pickings are done, then the remaining girls would be brought to each individual karaoke rooms to be pick by clients. Remember, these are the second-grade ones. So be smart and try to get to the Flower Street first!!! What a night! Pices for girls are $200;$500;$800.

ChangPing - FuHao
This is byfar my favourite place in CP. This place has a "Flower Street" as well but does not have so many girls. It has only 400-500 girls so I have an easier time picking girls. One advaneforum.xxxe that this place has is that it has got "Good Lighting". The Flower Street is located right after the front entrance so you can have the luxury of being greeted by 400-500 girls at the front door. You must remember your karaoke room number when you walk in the club. This is a must. Go around the rows and then pick the ones that you like. Gve her your room number and she will leavefor our room. You can then continue your memorable walk around flower lane. Imagine being "Boob-rubbed" by 400 sets of headlights... Haha. Next, "Good-Lighting" is important. In the last club, WuYueHua, the lighting is very bad, plenty of red and dimmed lights. Not good for choosing the right girl. Choose a wrong one and get a shock when you walk into your karaoke room where the light is brighter. This club also has better looking girls, just my opinion though. But definitely, the uniforms are better. Not all girls wear uniforms but the ones who do, are definitely better dressed. Do not know about the hotel here. I was staying at RedLion during my time here. What a night! Remember, 6pm is the dateline for this place. Prices for girls are $200;$500;$800.

ChangPing - TaoYuen
Pretty much the same as WuYueHua. Not as many girls though, only 600-800. Too bad, Haha. Lighting is bad as well but at least you do not have to get the mamasan to bring you there. Remeber, 6pm is the dateline for this place. After 630, no more good ones. Prices for girls are $200;$500;$800.

Flower streets and Catwalks are something new that I have encounter during my last trip Before that, girls would come in your room 10-15 at a time. That takes time and I hate the mamasans trying to push a girl onto you to be chosen. I rather choose a girl that i like from a room that has a few hundred to choose from. Thats my choice. Yours could be different.
