Visited this place without any appointment. Reached around 5:25 pm. Was asked to wait as the spa was busy. Receptionist asked me whether i have been there before, to which i said No - as it was indeed my first time there. Then she asked me if someone recommended me this spa, to which i said Yes and then she asked me the name of the person who referred me, and i bluffed a name. Not sure if she was satisfied with the name. Then she asked me to wait for 10-15 mins. I agreed and waited in the reception. I then asked her whether i can see the lineup and she said that they have both local and NE staff. I still insisted for a lineup, but she said that they never show the lineup. She then asked me to pay. I asked her how much and she quoted 2000/- for swedish and 2400/- for deep tissue. I told her my friend had paid 1200/- and she said thatโs impossible. She then asked me for my friendโs number and since i was bluffing, i said I donโt have it. She said you donโt have your friendโs number, to which i had to reply that he is my online friend and I donโt have his number, but if needed i can get her the number next time. So basically i shelled out 2000 from my wallet and started to wait again. After waiting for 25 mins finally my number arrived. I was asked to get into a room and within few mins a lady by the name Neha entered. She gave me dispo and left again. I quickly changed into the dispo and waited for her. She came back in 2 mins and asked me to lie on my stomach. She did quite a good massage and it lasted for 30-40 mins then she asked me whether i wanted any service I asked for the rates and she quoted 2000 for HJ with roaming and 3000 for B2B with HJ and roaming. I tried to negotiate for the b2b option for 2 and 2.5k but she did not budge to went with the 3000.
Total expense:
Counter - 2000
Service - 3000
WIR - probably (but need some seniors reference) so I donโt end up paying more and raise the rates
Overall satisfied.
Since i did see a couple of folks come out of the spa. I am sure a few of them would be on this forum. Can some humble senior please help out a friend in need with some good contacts and guidelines on how to negotiate and what price is acceptable to be paid. Because I have heard that urb@n is a pocket friendly option. But i ended up paying high premium.
