Just trying to answer your question. Short version: having an injury is a kind of massage leprosy.

Not so sure it's "massage leprosy," or one of those situations where others are just afraid it could happen to them too... and you have revealed to them how unequipped they would be to deal with such a thing.

After I graduated, my school apparently changed it's admitance requirements. They wont let you start if you have a hand or arm injury. To the best of my knowledge, this wasnt a requirement when I attended. I only wish my school would have some sort of admitance exam. I think too many people think massage school will be a breeze and are shocked when they find out just how demanding the book work really is.
