I'm a new member. I've been lurking for a couple of months, but felt compelled to write my first review because of all the stupid fighting in this thread. I'm only an occasional user of spas in the Toronto area, limited to E&M, Greenleaf, Tulip and Joyce and a couple of others in Scarborough, Markham and Richmond Hill. Because of this forum, I decided to try Shangri-La in Richmond Hill for the first time this month. Quite frankly, I've been really impressed. The spa is nicely decorated, has large rooms, and is much nicer in appearance that several of the others I mentioned. Clean towels, warm rooms (my biggest gripe at E&M is that the rooms are often a little chilly), and clean showers. So far I've had sessions with Cindy and Renee and both have given great massages and have never given me the feeling that they have to rush. They also don't demand tips up front, unlike Greenleaf. When I've called for an appointment, I assume it is Krayjee who answers and he is polite and easy to understand. When I've gone in, he provides a friendly greeting and quickly gets me to the room, and he treats the girls with respect in front of me. In short, this may become my go-to spa, despite the door fee being a little higher than I'd like. KJ's December special pricing was what convinced me to try and I hope these prices become routine.
I just wish the 109 pages of "reviews" could be weeded out and condensed to just real reviews and not the stupid potshots taken at other members. My 2 cents worth.
By the way, can somebody get SL to fix its website? Never works.
