No that wasn't me, obviously I wasn't the only one who had that problem with Rayne. When I came at 8 Riley and Emily were already gone, so it definitely wasn't me. Even you admit that Rayne was bossy. Everyone here is saying Rayne was being bitchy/rude, Emily and Riley are admitting that Rayne talks trash about customers to the MPA's within an earshot of other customers, so the common denominator in all of this, is not me being a drama queen and airing my dirty laundry, it's about Rayne and her lack of professionalism, lack of respect for others, and her attitude problem. But I do enjoy your attempt at being the white knight and trying to get some free door fees. I'm providing constructive feedback about Rayne's behaviours that were witnessed by dozens of other guys. I think Emily and Riley are really nice and helpful, the MPA's there are nice and hot, and as a result, I'm still a customer at Muse.

Again, it would be hilarious and ironic if you were the guy Rayne called disgusting behind your back, or the old, short, fat, balding guy.

It would have worked here. Emily and Riley are extremely diligent in responding to PM's and attempting to resolve "situations". That makes them A1 in my books. Call me a fanboy but I call it like it is. If I like a spa and am treated well I make it known.

My dealings with Muse reception has always been professional and courteous. My sense is Rayne was probably stressed out that day and may have had a short fuse. I'd cut her a break there. And her rant about customers, while unprofessional, is probably accurate. I'm sure she wasn't intentionally venting in earshot of customers.

That said, I think TheMechanic does have a beef. He was told that his appointment was delayed by 25 min, returned in 15 only to find out his spot was given away. If he didn't get to see anyone that night (I'm not sure) I think he should have been appropriately compensated i.e. a door fee waiver.

It comes down to expectations. Most of us have been to Muse and considerate it the best MP in Toronto and very well run. If this happened at any other MP it would be considered normal. We have come to expect more from Muse as they have always been so professional and raised the level of service and expectation for me any ways when it comes to visiting the MP. Some times things happen and they cannot control it at the time, like the appointment running late. But great service is how its handled after. I'm sure Emily and Riley will make things right.

No other MP has every tried anything like the Muse open house and for how busy it was it went over well.

The OP (Mechanic) made is a very personal vendetta whether you and others see that or not is up to you. You go back and read his posts and rants. When he didn't get the answer or resolve that he wanted the rants and insults became worse. For someone that claims to be a businessman that isn't the way to handle anything. The OP continues to attack and insult muse, rayne and members and has developed his own fanclub.

I will agree with you on one point. Muse will learn from this experience and muse is great but not perfect.

The situation was handled poorly by Mechanic not contacting Emily and/or Riley directly, but spouting off publicly to create issues.

You can please 20% of the people 100% of the time.
You can please 65% of the people most of the time.
You can please 10% of the people sometimes.
The other 5% can go elsewhere.

OK, we're really beating a dead horse here, and I have no desire to get into a pissing match with themechanic. This will be my last post in the thread.

Yes, Rayne's actions were inappropriate, but that's been dealt with. End of story. If themechanic was so offended he doesn't want to go to Muse again, well, that's his choice. More appointment slots for the rest of us.

However, it would seem to me that it is reasonable for the OP to share this story in the forum. This way, we will know next year how things can potentially take a turn for the worse if a similar event happened again. I too would be pissed if I drove (all the way) to Muse, only to find out that I lost my appointment in a similar situation as the OP's.

Talking behind a client's back in the spa where it can be heard or overheard, no matter how disgusting or dirty the client is , is not tolerable. If another client hears it, the natural question to ask is "what do they have to say about me?" It does absolutely nothing to earn new business and can only lead to downside - but I guess E&R have spoken to Rayne about it.

You attack posters all the time and make sarcastic comments that are not constructive at all! I understand you want to be the center of attention but this detracts from the main purpose of this board which is to have a constructive discourse about various issues.

There are many guys here who make a lot of money and hobby a lot. You do not need to be jealous of them and attack them just because they have a higher disposable income compared to you. It seems you bring this point up and you state you have a high disposable income and can hobby once or twice a year. There are guys on the board who hobby 1-2 times a week and perhaps even more.

We are all here to advice and help each other. Hof, if you have nothing nice to say in a thread I would suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself. I thought you would have learned your lesson by now!

I feel strongly that the moderators should delete this entire thread. Imagine yourself going to work tomorrow knowing virtually everyone you deal with has read a public diatribe making you out to be incompetent and malicious. The OP launched a personal attack on a young woman who is simply doing a job. It's not a high profile, high paying, publicly accountable job. It's an ordinary hourly wage job with none of the benefits that celebrities, athletes and politicians receive in exchange for having their every action publicly discussed.

It needs to be said that the OP's rant is a far worse thing to do to another person than anything he experienced during his visit to Muse.

I had crappy service at Harvey's and Home Depot yesterday. I suppose I could rant about it on a forum somewhere. But it would be a complaint about a corporation, not a person. Even though it was a person who was rude to me. This is far different. This complaint identifies the employee by name to a community of people who see her regularly. And that is simply over the line. TheMechanic is anonymous. His target is not. If he has the courage to identify himself publicly, perhaps there would be an argument for keeping this thread open. But I doubt he'll provide us his name and place of business. As such, it really doesn't matter how poor his customer service experience was. His public attack on Rayne is a despicable and cowardly act. And it says far more about him than it does about her.

You can say that you can't write a negative experience on this spa, but the fact of this thread is that you can.

I was there that evening and didn't notice those things about Rayne, even when I was earshot of the girls' back room.

However, if I had a firm appointment but had to wait and lost it while having a quick smoke, I guess I would be ticked too. Shit happens, but I doubt it's Rayne's fault.

Mind you, I saw a guy who was waiting his turn in the lounge that got a rain check due to the delay, which I thought meant that his half hour free door fee would be honoured.

That's a perfect analogy, sadly it likely went over HOF's and the other fanboys' heads. I wonder what HOF would do if he didn't end up getting a free Muse door fee for all of his efforts of defending a receptionist who can't honour appointment times, and trashes customers behind their back. I guess he'll just move on to defend the next mp or agency with poor customer service and horrible business practices in search of his elusive freebie.
