Not only NL and Lamington road.. all places( be it bars mps ) are very very risky. The only way to minimise this risk is to have a good rapport with the place .. and the girls... you get insider information about the safety . I won t say it' is foolproof but definitely it' is helpful.
No point in taking a NL girl to a hotel. Db girls and MP girls are good to take to hotels if u know the person well. If it' is a hotel it is worth a night out.

Never bring girls to home.. especially if u live with family or have a good rapport with the society people. You never know when your nights girlfriend starts blackmailing you
