no microwave in my room, but i do have an oven thing for the body wrap towels so occassionally use that, also a shower! generally my of my clients are regular so i get it ready before they come or if a newbie or a different problem i excuse myself and shout out to hubby if he is in......lol

We have a microwave in the kitchen and it isnt used for anything else so I can use that. In the winter they do like a hot water bottle on their tootsies.

tips to enhance the treatment so how about an electric blanket (i know it does nt suit everybody) but when a client comes in on a cold day to a warm room and gets on a warm couch with a warm towell over them........... need i say more. steve

Do you use one then? Under or over?

I should imagine it would be quite nice but two things spring to mind.

One the trailing cord, I already have the foot pedal cables to contend with and two, it could get a bit warm after a while. Nice thought though, might take mine in with me next time I get a treatment.

I have been using a heated unblanket for years and my clients love it. The only thing you have to remember is to get it checked yearly by an electrician (electricity at work act), bit of a pain but worth it.

On deep pressure - the day you have done seems great and I would love to talk and swap ideas with you some time. Another great tutor to look out for is a lady called Ruth Smith, she again is a wonderful therapist and what she doesn't know well... I was lucky to study with her some 6 years ago but haven't seen her courses advertised since, if you find her she is well worth the traveling for any of her courses. I too used my thumbs but be careful 9 years in practice have taken its toll on them. I also use, elbows, forearms, fists, side of hands, heel of hands and fingers.
