I was going to reserve my 200th post for an action review, but, I have to commend LexLuther (and Rejected Monke in a supporting role) for the clear and concise explanation of the business and how thing work.
As you both say, for whatever reason, these girls have chosen this path...and they do so at great personal risk. They don't get medical, dental, etc...it's all out of pocket. Transportation as well is all out of pocket (and they have to pay full price on things like air fare, etc.). If there are any "troubles" in the AMPs, often times their money and belongings are confiscated and never returned...even if no charges are filed.
Hopefully everyone here understands that these ladies are human beings, but, in my opinion, they are exceptional human beings. How many people do you know that would risk so much to pursue the American Dream?
My hat's off to all of you that treat the ladies with respect...
P.S. - Max, your inquiry that spurred this discussion was a good one, so you deserve some credit too...but next time, go to the ATM! LOL
