I'm not sure I really get the point of this. My typical experience rarely includes a "visit" to the front counter. Usually I am taken to a room and the entire transaction takes place, with cash, in the treatment room. Many places have back doors so I often do not even see the reception area. Is there going to be plexiglass like this in the room and the attendant will reach through the hole, like shown in the image, for the massage? Spas are not banks where tellers stay behind the plexiglass. Dealing with the receptionist is the least of my concerns when it comes to COVID-19 at a spa.
