Sounds like the spa was recently sold and the new owner doesn't understand yet how best to advertise within there comfortably. Sounds like the new owner has the same staff as before, all of a sudden those girls are asked to have photos etc, maybe that's a big ask and they are worried about rocking the boat. Just a guess.
