No problem Essence99...I know what you mean by the going over the hour. It's wierd isn't it. There are some days when you almost go all out for the client. As in you might try lots of different techniqes and positions to free up knots around the scapula or really work the tension out of the neck. For example I might get the client to sit up (with their agreement of course!) and then work on the shoulders and neck that way, applying pressure to the acupressure points at the base of the skull etc.. and then the next time I see them I feel that I almost have to do the whole routine again or else they won't feel like they have had the money's worth, even if it isn't warranted. Same as if you go over time on one treatment, then you feel that you must everytime. Which is fine if you always feel like doing that, but if you don't then you just start to resent your own generousity! I guess the more I have to rely on myself to get the bills paid and less reliant on having my wages paid for me by someone else, the more shrewd I'll become in time and effort. Sad though.
