[Question]

Hollywood is a shithole. If I ever go there, It's 1 drink, push through the crowd and straight back out the door. Go spend 2000 baht elsewhere.

Agreed. But I hate the crowded atmosphere. Spot on about attitude! A couple of trips back I met a couple of middle aged Aussie men who were having their first trip to Thailand and asked me to introduce them to the P4P scene. We'd hit several bars, go-go's etc and wound up at Hollywood where one of the guys was punched in the stomach for no reason at all by a b*tchy FL who looked like she was on yaba. Things looked tense, so we opted to leave.

me and my friend was with 2 bg and the girls talk to one ho work there , and we go to be in the v.i.p for free whitout paying for anything . but the other people that sat there had some big bootles of vodka. but it is noting spcial that hapens there anyway, so i wouldent pay 2000 bht for it

The only good part about VIP is your not crammed in a huge crowd having to move for someone every 10 seconds. I did the VIP thing once but that was just to impress some Norwegian girl 555

If your on holiday I say go for it at least once, 2000 baht isn't much

its pants. a small raised area to sit... in a club. who sits in a club? its generally boring. everytime ive been dragged in ive been back out within 5 minutes!

60USD for a bottle/mixers is a bargain IMO. I guess it is all relative to the place. 2 people would get nice and stupid splitting a bottle. Hell...get 2 and party it up with the crowd. When I come in August....we need to do it.

I like Hollywood...but the reason to go there is for the FL. the best way to meet them is to walk around and find one and buy them a drink. If you are in the VIP area, you are attached to a 2000 baht anchor...and for no reason.

it is kind of a douchebag scene....but the women are hot.

I am sure the VIP Section in an American Club would be far superior than that of Hollywood in Bangla???
I think the appeal of it all, is that it would give you the experience of something you would not normallly do back home! (Though I am sure some BM might be VIP also 55555)

Hollywood is great. I went with a local girl who is a regualr there and the staff really looked after me etc etc.. 60 aussie for a bottle is cheap in my opinion and the beauty of it is u mix ur own drinks so there is no 1 shot drinks going round = very fun ****in night.. its good to sit down every now n then and when u want to have a boogie u can jst roll down to the d floor. One thing i have noticed is that they have the sameeee dude Dj'ing every night and dont seem to get many internationals in there.. ie- calvin harris is playing at Seduction in couple weeks

i hate Hollywood, yes, I said it! Went there the other night. Music was so loud I couldn't hear a word the girls were saying and it was shoulder-to-shoulder packed. Tiger Disco, now that's my choice. So far, it has never let me down.

Most of the guys in Hollywood are "Tossers" in my opinion......and the ones in the VIP section are even bigger "tossers".

However I do quite like a lot of the girls in Hollywood despite the attitude of some of them.


If you think you must go in the VIP section use the bottle of whatever to give drinks to girls that you can invite into the area........and get beers for yourself.

Care to expand on any of that? Just curious that's all. Not been there yet and am back to Phuket on 22 Feb. I tend to avoid places full of drunken idiots with attitudes, just can't be bothered. If the girls are OK though I might try it once. What's their attitude like? Stuck up, hard nosed, aggressive?

Im no expert, have been there a few times, its all that everybody says. Loud and over crowded but its free entry so its expected. I did feel on edge a few times, drunk blokes bumping into you and stuff. The girls are probably a little stuck up, you'll get most of the younger lookers there compared to Taipan which I prefer! Nothing special about Hollywood but if you've never been, I think its worth a try. My last trip we were in there for 3 minutes before we headed out and back to Tiger.
