herbal medicine degree

Hi,

I am due to start a degree in herbal medicine in sept/oct this year. No one I know has any experience of studying herbal medicine nor do I know anything about the course apart from the uni prospectuses howEver i know i want to do this more than anything and that this is the right thing for me to be doing. I would dearly love to hear from anyone with experience of this course as whilst I have every confidence that i will be giving this my best efforts at the same time i have no idea of what im getting into regarding how difficult the course is x

You could ask the college if you could speak to some of their graduates or often colleges have Open Days where you can go along, get a feel of the place and ask any questions you like.

You would probably do well to look into the New EU Directive that's going through on natural supplements. It's all a bit tricky to decipher and open to interpretation, but if open sales are band for many herbal supplements, then the demand for well qualified herbalists could greatly increase, as they will be best placed to prescribe these.
