You disagree with everybody. It so happens that some of your answers are wrong. Yes, babies contribute to the economy, whether directly or indirectly. The parents purchase diapers for the baby, for example. So the diaper manufacturers are making more profits, instead of going out of business. More profits means more people working, which means those people who are working, spend more money on other things. It's a domino effect. What about the toy manufacturers? Same thing.
So what do you think would happen if every pregnant woman decided that they don't want their babies? Half the people working, would be unemployed. No diapers, no toys, no baby food, no baby clothes. No jobs for nannys, babysitters. School teachers would be laid off. It would be an unthinkable drain on the economy.
