Herpes you can still get from protected sex. Also most people who do have genital herpes don't get an outbreak, and if they do it's very minor and might happen once or twice. The majority don't end up getting those kinds of sores you see in health class. Theres also decent meds, I dont know though because I don't have herpes. If I did, it was isolated to one or two acne looking marks.
its not minor. from what ive read, its quite uncomfortable and outbreaks are such a buzzkill
