I have been checking into a workshop that sounds perty interesting.
it is for 5 days in tampa fl. 8am to 5pn everyday. It is working with a cadaver. I'm told that you start with the cadaver and their are groups of 6. I think there are 5 groups not sure. but anyway you start from the very beggining with instructions ( ill get the flyer if your interested) by a well known Doctor. and you start by cutting off the skin and go from there with your group. it sounds perty cool. 1900.00 instructor said it fills up fast though.

I did attend the 5 day cadaver lab in Florida. Kent Health Systems is amazing. I would definitely recommend this seminar.

We went to a nearby university to their cadaver lab. We were supposed to go earlier in the year. Well, there was a new director over the lab - and it took awhile for us to get scheduled. We actually went the last week of school. It really helped to pull together all those months of A/P...and since we had went through the muscles extensively, it made me appreciate the human body even more. The university really treated the cadavers with respect - and made sure that those coming in did as well. We also had fun while he did the presentation - so it wasn't stuffy either. And they made sure that the tour actually fit our profession. I guess the tour guide before would do more of an organ presentation. Our guide went through muscles - attachment points - and actions. Since we were going to state boards in about a month, it really helped to see the muscles - and something he said really helped one of our classmates understand origins & insertions with their actions.

Bodyworlds

I just got home from seeing the Bodyworlds exhibit at Discovery Place in Charlotte. It was AMAZING!!! I could have literally spent all day in there, but after 2 hours I just had to eat and sit down, and once you leave you can't go back in . But, I was able to see everything. I highly recommend the exhibit to anyone who gets the chance to go!

The things that left the largest impression for me were the prenatal exhibits and the diseased hearts and lungs.
