Re: Post # 17. Yes I do realise that otherwise Vegetarianism wouldn't work. My statement was to highlight (taking the p*** actually) that the fact that people like to take a tablet at a premuim price but not look at their whimsical diet.
I once read an article about a Chinese martial artist in his 70s. He is known for his flexability. Asked how he was so flexable, and his reply was that he ate animal gristle soup regularly every month.
Biologically speaking, the nearer tissue is to the human body, the greater the absorpion of that tissue into the human body. So there maybe something in these old folk remedies.
