Advice on wording please!

its sensible to be very careful how you word your add andon which web sites you use,however you will still get some unwanted calls as these individuals just like to wind up genuine therapists.

Please would you kindly give me your comments onthe new wording on my website where it says "Please Note". I hope this sounds better than the previous wording.....what do you think??? I am finding this soooo difficult knowing what to put without offending anyone.

I've been following this thread with interest. My feedback I feel the Please Note is too long and over explains. Would it not be simpler to say.

"Male clients by referral only"

The wording itself seems inoffensive to me, but I can't help but wonder why you would be at risk in YOUR home but not, it seems from the other [unchanged as yet] wording, if you go visit THEM???

I still stand by the suggestions I made above about some of the present text being open to misinterpretation. Post # 8:

OK, understood ... my throwaway line earlier about wives appeared to presuppose all potential male clients were married. I daresay a massage therapist could equally be at risk from an undesirable potential client who lives alone?



I think it's a vast improvement ... well done! ... because you've now got your message across in a totally professional way WITHOUT having to use any of the words which might be searched for by the kind of clients you DON'T want. [Just a tiny typo of therapeutic to correct ]

I think perhaps I'll leave it for other massage therapists to make further comments on your disclaimer about male clients, since that's not really my area of expertise, and also to answer your query about possible chaperoning.
