I booked Crystal for the 90 minute promo as my body was very sore from tennis so needed the extra attention. Confirmed on arrival and was looking forward to an extended session of massage and play since I hadn’t seen her since last year.

She began with back walking which was a first for us, but I assumed something she does now for longer sessions.

A little while later, Anna shouted something through the door and then the tempo for the massage shifted and Crystal transitioned into her tease. Finally whispering in my ear as to what I wanted - I said BS.

The BS was fine - no PS - and not the slow sensuality I’d gotten in past but it was okay.

After I finished, I assumed she had something in mind for a second shot and more massage, but instead she began to get dressed. It had only been 45 minutes!

Apparently Anna decided to cut my 90 minute session short because someone else showed up wanting to see Crystal; and was already waiting for her in one of the other rooms.

Charming “promo” ….

To her credit, Crystal was apologetic but moreso angry with Anna. Apparently these things happen more often than desired she told me. I tipped her and she left quickly to go see the other customer.

Anna came in and her defended her actions by bluntly saying she had another customer so what was she supposed to do? Huh?

I paid the door fee and left.

SPAs need to realize that rushing customers will only hurt their business and $120FS for a customer losing his money is a lot more annoying for that customer than you deciding what to do with the next customer that you misbooked because you are GREEDY. SPA owners make a lot of money and need to stop being greedy in order for their SPA to succeed. If you already have a big house and many BMWs, then you are doing far better than most of your clients.

It’s nice 2 have preferred client status… one legit spa I frequent, they bump other clients when I show up! … I don’t ask them 2, they just go, oh this guy, not really gr8 client, u take her now… cool… sad 2b him tho…

… he arrived 5 min late, but even if he’d been on time, I already had her… we listened 2 him @ reception desk f/ our rm, he’s super annoyed… & we laffed… … yeah, I guess we’re bad people but still funny… needless 2 say, mpa didn’t like him… mebbe they lost a client that day, but damn I been loyal ever since…

Bad move 2 bump CM… or any guy mid sesh… I doubt they do this if he’s there every wk… but Anna shouldn’t do it 2 anyone…

Irony is that I don't do 90 minutes often -- so if I do, it's for a REASON. Namely, it means I have carved out an extended period of time in my calendar for that kind of session - and chose to prioritize this spa for that time. And moreover, it's because my body actually needs the extra time (both for therapeutic and play reasons).

Which is exactly why Anna's "does it really matter" attitude was bothersome -- it showed a lack of understanding that a client called in, explicitly referencing the 90 minute promo from MP which she acknowledged happily at the time. Then upon entry, welcoming me in and politely putting me in a room - and once again confirming the 90 minutes with Crystal was good to go; and after Crystal walked in, she confirmed the 90 minutes as well. I mean, you'd think we're all on the same page?

The surprise early ending, was a true surprise -- and the ladies were arguing with each other as I got dressed so frankly I was happy to hand a $50 to Anna for the 45 minute door and get out of there.

And as much as Crystal provided a reasonable session, at the end of the day, I did not receive that which I came for -- and interestingly, it's this 90 minute promo that GW chooses to plug on MP every day as one of their value props.

Irony indeed...

I was equally calm as the situation unfolded -- both Crystal and Anna got paid what they wanted/expected. And I left the premises out of sorts -- given this happened last week, my intent was not to run to this site to rant, but having marinated on the situation these past days, I see no reason why I shouldn't share a balanced example of poor customer service from what many perceive to be one of the better spas in North York.

None of us are going to live and die with a handful of bills, but absolutely, had Anna refused to take my door fee and apologized for the lapse, I would have considered the matter closed - and came back another time, acknowledging that it was a one-off, and the spa understood as much. The fact that the opposite was done is the reason why I'm inclined to NOT return.
