If she told you she was from Japan or Japanese, I feel surprised and to be honest I don't believe that. The following is my personal opinion on Japan or the Japanese, and has nothing to do with massage. You may not know that as a Chinese with a sense of national pride, I/we should not say that I’m/we are Japanese, nor should we make an analogy.

This is a historical issue. Our country was invaded by the Japanese during World War II, and trillions of Chinese people were massacred by the Japanese. Until now, their government and textbooks are still trying to erase this history. I like and admire the Germans because they admit the crimes committed in the massacre of the Jews.

Especially as a Chinese, she/he can completely say that she/he are Chinese. Why does she/he have to compare himself/herself to a Japanese? He/she can be Korean or someone else.She may not know or forget that her city was massacred by Japanese invaders 70 years ago, who killed defenseless women and children.

Of course it never happened in your country, you don’t know the history and you are not wrong. That's why I was angry when a staff member said she was Japanese. Of course I hope you heard it wrong.

This topic has nothing to do with massage, and I will not accept rebuttal.

Well here is your rebuttal to think about: My previous business partner (RIP) went on a month long holiday to vietnam. While touring on a buss with his wife, he got to know the young gentleman (Approximately 22 years old) that was driving / tour guide. His work shift was 28 days on and one day off to go back home to his new young family. My business partner asked him if the young people in Vietnam had animosity towards USA or Canadian people due to the past war that occurred.

Without even thinking about it the young tour guide confidently answered: We don't look at the past, we only look at the good future we have because that is what makes our lives happy. We cherish all visiting people including USA so we have good jobs to support our families.

I thought about this and couldn't believe this statement came from this young kid just starting out in life that only gets to see his young wife for one day per month. He genuinely felt privileged to be able to have a happy life and to spend time with foreign people learning about them.

Listen - first of all - expressing personal perspectives like "we hate japan" is the thing that immediately fucks up a group forum about sensual massage. If all that matters is the massage was good, as you said - then don't say the other stuff? Its simple, really.

Second - you've been pretty decent and respectful to me when booking over the last year or so. I appreciate it. I've gone there a lot. Not your most regular i'm sure, but a lot. That said, the stuff you say on this forum feels pretty off-center. And its double weird coming from a manager of the women. My opinion only. I don't like it really. Makes me feel like I don't want to say anything anymore because it will affect the women in a bad way, you know? Think about that.

And I don't like getting into pissing matches online, but I will step into this a little bit for the sake of everyone else looking for real information here - I've been at Lomi a lot, repeated with a number of women a lot also. I talk during massage, we get to know each other. Over 4, 5, 6 massages you start to understand people. So I can say with a lot of confidence that the ages of the women told to me on the texts is never the age they eventually confess to me in the room. Sometimes off by 4 years, sometimes off by more than 15. Information told about their mix of ethnicity has also been inaccurate. Do I care? Not really, I keep coming back. If i'm told they are young, 23, and that turns out to be wrong, I generally don't care, because they are still young to me, bubbly fun personality, the number doesn't matter. The ethnicity mix matters nothing to me.

So the point of this is - this is a place all of us dudes should feel safe and free to share accurate information so we all get to make informed decisions for ourselves - and I just don't love it when misinformation is still being pushed. So I'll push back. Respectfully. I've always enjoyed my time at Lomi and would still like to return. Lots of great talent there. Except my last visit. Which i didn't post about, but i got suggested someone who was not enjoyable at all. But thats life, can't win em all.

So a couple of days ago I had the pleasure of seeing Grace at Lomi Lomi. The massage was excellent. Just the right amount of pressure throughout. She's not a talker and that's fine with me. She is on the older side (mid 50's) and I've seen others call older Asian women on here aunties. She is definitely an Auntie but for the massage it was awesome. Not repetitive and works every area well. I had an area giving me issues and she paid special attention to that area.
There was very little teasing (which is ok) and the charge for extra is a bit more than others but the massage was so good and you can tell she's a legit RMT with tons of experience. I would definitely add her in the rotation. An insurance receipt was provided which is a huge bonus. Big room and honestly zero complaints. Some may find the age off putting and definitely not a looker but I wasn't there for the extras as that was just a bonus.

I agree that chronological age by itself is meaningless. What I was saying is that there is no reason for the shop or manager or whomever to misrepresent the age of a provider by 15 years. It’s unnecessary and dishonest. How well a woman takes care of herself does matter, just as it matters how well a man takes care of himself.

On the client side, we pay for the massages. I think it is not unreasonable to find and be selective about whom we get a massage from. Massage type and quality, appearance etc, all combined. A good business will always try to create good matches. And not mislead a client just to earn a bit of revenue that day. Repeating revenue from the same client is much more valuable.

True, it is illegal to hire anyone who under 18 years old . That is too crazy if any spa told the client they have female therapist who is 15 years old. and no one will believe that..

That was not my point. If a therapist is 60 years of age, why promote her as being 35 or 40? Just say mature woman and we will understand. I know a lot of guys seek young therapists who are in their 20s. Personally I find them boring. I prefer women therapist in the 35-45 group. With some life experiences.

also we told client young age female will not have very good massage skills (compare with mid-age experienced RMT, because they have over 10-20 years massage work experience, compare with young age usually 1-2 years massage experience in massage schools, of course young age advantages are good looking and soft hands and easygoing and good English ) , depends on what you need .

Some years of experience adds up, agreed. However, 20 years of experience doesn’t necessarily mean that a massage is much better from a therapist with 7 years of experience. Massage is a very personal type of service. Many go to RMT school but only the rare ones have a natural gift. The rare ones with a natural gift will always be a hundred times better at massage than the ones who just went to RMT school but did not have a passion for massage, but only a passion for money.
