I read in another thread that some one said that there college wasnt blending oils any more, whole point of course hay !!! if was right.

I guess you need to contact the college, or the examining body, to find out the course content.

Well, I would say it definitely it is a major part of an Aromatherapy course for sure.

Like Lesley suggests, I would find out what the course entails.

Hi Kathy,

if it's a VTCT course, they have changed the gradings. You start at level 2, which is basic aroma with no blending, only pre-blended oils or ones you make up from out of a book.

Once you've passed level 2, you can go onto level 3 which is when you get to blend the oils for yourself.

I think it might be to do with the fact VTCT is now an internationally recognised qualification.

For a better explaination, ask your aroma tutor at college.
