STRONGSVILLE, Ohio
Suspicious situation, Pearl Road: On Sept. 12, a woman called police about the last time she went to the massage parlor.
The resident said when she left the Pearl Road establishment she found an “odd” symbol on her headlight.
She also wanted some advice about other “odd” things going on in her life.
Disturbance, Steeplechase Lane: On Sept. 12, a resident called police after hearing a loud party with screaming and blaring music coming from Steeplechase Lane.
An arriving officer located the homeowner in question. They were advised of the complaint and agreed to turn the music down.
Identity theft, Whitney Road: On Sept. 12, a Whitney Road resident came to the police station to report he just discovered someone in 2011 opened a Verizon account in his name when he lived in Cleveland.
The man had no idea who was responsible, but wanted it documented with the police in the hopes that Verizon will take it off his credit report.
Disturbance, Royalton Road: On Sept. 12, an AT&T store manager called police about a disgruntled customer wearing a striped shirt with jeans and her hair in a bun.
The caller said the woman wasn’t listening and didn’t want to hear any explanations. The customer left just as the officer arrived.
Weapons offense, Pearl Road: On Sept. 12, a Walmart employee observed a customer stealing merchandise.
An arriving officer located the man, who was arrested for theft. It turned out not only did he have a warrant with the Solon police department, but he also had a gun.
The man was held for transport. He also received a weapons charge.
Fighting folks, W. Bend Drive: On Sept. 12, W. Bend Drive residents called police about a fight taking place in their front yard.
The caller said a handful of people were involved. An arriving officer learned it was a minor alteration between people in a car and a homeowner.
Both parties were blaming each other and nobody was interested in pressing charges. There were no injuries.
