why does my cat wake me up with a massage movement using her front paws?

she did it when she was a kitten but usally grow out of it. all 3 of my cats do it when they are about to lay down or when they are laying on me. most of the time it means that they left their mommy to soon and it is a simbolic kitten thing you should not be bothered by it, you cant change it. i have my 6 year old cat thats been doing it since the day i got her. just love on your kitty.

that's how she got milk from her mom.Now it's called kneading or sometimes making biscuits. I think it's charming until one sinks in their claws.

your cat is kneading, they do it when they are kittens to their mothers stomach as they are nursing to help with milk production. when they do it to people its a loving, comforting gesture. some cats dont do it after they reach adulthood and some keep doing it. i have two cats, one does it all the time, to blankets, pillows and my boyfriend and myself. if your kitty is doing it to you it means she loves you.

This is called Kneading... It's what kittens do to their mother's belly to bring more milk out. For you this is a loving gesture.

so do my 3 cats ,its because thats how they produced their mothers milk when they were kittens,

It means they are "kneading" which means they are leaving their scent on you which marks their territory. Its a good thing. She loves you. My cats do that too all the time.
