Why do women seem to like erotic massages more than sex?

One thing I've noticed is that when I mention how sexy they are and how I would love to massage their shoulders and thighs, they seem to like the idea. However, if I just talk about sex, they're usually not as thrilled to hear about it. I have given women both shoulder and thigh massages before, and they often want me to continue doing it until my hands get tired and sore and I plead to stop, but they tell me to continue. It seems women never act equally as thrilled about sex. Massaging the woman's shoulders and thighs is fun, but my hands get tired and sore after a while.


Why do women act more interested in those leg massages than sex? I thought women loved sex.

Why does the man have to talk and act his way into making her want sex with him when yet she enjoys a massage instantly?

Women are all about sensuality and being intimate. Sex is exactly that ... sex ... a massage is a lot more, and generally it helps a woman relax and feel good way before the sex.

Massage is relaxing and soothing, and makes the recipient feel pampered and cared for. All they have to do is lie back and be totally taken care of.

Sex, OTOH, is exciting, but it usually implies that a certain degree of MUTUAL effort is required for mutual pleasure. And if you talk about sex, it sounds like you're only interested in using them for your own pleasure.

Because, in general, sex is more a matter of definition--one might almost say, of imagination, or even illusion--for women than it is for men. The reason why most women aren't so thrilled when you talk about sex, I imagine, is because they're assuming you want sex only for your own selfish needs. She thinks you're just a horndog looking to get off without caring about her as a person at all.

Compare that to a massage, which makes you come off as though you just want to make her feel good.
