why do many GIRLS & WOMEN become really nervous when guys LOOK them

straight in the eyes when chatting? when guys talk to girls and stare them right in the eye----they become very nervous and forget what to say---why?

Hey! I guess this is the everlasting problem of women, it's more to do with some self esteem issues than anything else. I can safely so because for a long while i did this too, without realizing it. Finally I built some confidence in me and I can talk while staring you back in the eye!

I personally hate to stare back into a guys eyes, it feels like he's staring deep in my soul, and its just wierd, so i look away, especially if a girl likes a guy, in the beginning its always hard to look him in the eyes, cause we're kind of wondering what are you thinking about while your looking at us.

its horrible when that happens , and i'll tell you why it is for me:
when they look into your eyes, your meant to , and feel like, you have to reutrn the eye contact
- therefore you have to look straight up to them, and that leaves me feeling open and vunreable because i cant hide anything from them.
- you feel like you cant look away and protect yourself from this person, who might turn all mean on you in an instant
- so if you dnt no the girl very welll, dnt stare into her eyes - most of us find that quite intimadating at first. always remember to smile and try to make her feel more comfortable around you
