Where can I get a good massage that's not really expensive?

The only massages I've ever gotten are the 'cheap' ones where you just walk into a local salon in a local strip mall and they just throw you on a random table in the back, and it's not very professional, but it's still nice. So.... where would I get a semi-cheap decent massage? That's not more than $40? Does it even exist? Or should I just work on getting a boyfriend and have him do it for free? Lol...That's a whole other can of worms, though...........

Local Massage Schools, if there are any in your area the students need the practice and they usually will do if for free or really inexpensively.

I'd say your chances are 40% of getting a decent massage for $40 or less. A good, experienced massage practitioner will not work for that much. You can go to a "massage mill" like Hand and Stone or Massage Envy for an introductory $39 massage offer. However, you will have to suffer through intense pressure to buy a subscription that you can NEVER get out of, and your practitioner will be a recent graduate who can't get work anywhere else.

It's worth spending $10 or $20 more and finding a qualified, experienced practitioner who will give you a treatment that is worth your time and money.
