The rumour is they are doing it because guys don't use their real names, so if they need to provide information this is the only way they can if the powers that be ask about their clients. Deal made with politicians so they could reopen in phase 2. Also I have heard there will be inspections by the region. Just be aware guys.

There have always been cameras in spas. They are well placed so it's hard to see them. There can't be cameras in the rooms. Besides, as long as you behave yourself, get in, get off and get out, who's gonna care to check the footage??

I think the OP is saying they will use the cameras (presumably the ones at the front entrance) to track people down in case there's an outbreak. Since full names are rarely given, I guess they'll post everyone's pics on some website or show on TV LOL...

Let me clear up the confusion... I did mean entrance and hallways, not the rooms (even though it does happen...spy vids, etc). The official I was speaking with dated they have or will be contacting the spa owners to keep the images of their clients so they can be identified if needed. (They know guys don't use their real names). He also said they will be doing unannounced inspections to see if the safe guards are being used.

Anyway just sharing.... Cheers

The cameras in the lobby are a must for the safety of the people working there. We just had a senseless and needless murder happen a few months ago at a Spa.

And wasn't there a stabbing at one of the Asian Spas about a year ago? Studio 9, was it?
