What would be the proper ratio of oil to water for Aromatherapy using a Vaporizer?

I'm sure there is variations on this depending on strength of the essential oils and all of that. But just for a starting point, do you know what would be the proper ratio of oil to water for Aromatherapy using a Vaporizer?
I assume the vaporizer part is inconsequential also but just thought I would throw that in there.
My vap has an attachment to hold a few tablespoons, give or take, of liquid for this exact purpose but I can't find anything that tells me how much oil to 'mix' into the water...
Only that I should use distilled water.
