What to charge

Hi there

I did an aromatherapy session at a care home at the weekend which went really well. We had agreed a session would cost £12 (which is normally half an hour). However the clients there had varying degrees of dementia so while a few of them tolerated the 20 - 30 mins there were a couple who only tolerated 10 mins or so. I am not sure if I should only charge them £6 and charge per 15 mins or stick to the £12 a session price. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would try and do a minimum fee of £12, regardless of whether it's 10 or 15 or 30 minutes - you could always be flexible, but only if you are in the home for a set number of hours - then you could potentially see more people for less time.

Going to have a discussion with the charge nurse on Sat so will let her know. That's what I thought I should do just didn't want to start off on the wrong foot. Thanks for your advice x
