What is this type of massage called?

My mums birthday is coming up and I want to pay for her to get a massage, the type of massage is where they crack your bones or something by pulling your legs arms etc, I can't remember lol, but I've been told that that kind of massage helps Relief pain in joints legs etc, my mum has really bad pains all over her body so I think this would be good for her, only thing is I don't know where to find Places where they do this or even the name of this kind of massage lol, can someone help me please, I love in Scotland near glasgow

You might be thinking of Reiki massage. Check out this Wikipedia article about Reiki.

Reiki helps a lot of people, but it has become so "fashionable" that I almost hate to recommend it. There are plenty of people out there who claim to be trained in Reiki but really aren't. Be careful where you send your mother. And consider a more established practice, which is ordinary physical therapy. Physical therapists use both massage and exercise to reduce pain in joints.
