I refer my clients to this list of Reflexology books for self-help: http://reflexology.suite101.com/article.cfm/beginner_reflexology_booklist.
Some of my favorite self-help Reflexology books include both maps, images of how to administer the techniques and recommendations for certain ailments (headaches, common cold, nausea, etc..). Try getting "The Busy Person's Guide to Reflexology" by Ann Gillanders or "Reflexology: Health at Your Fingertips" by Barbara and Kevin Kunz, those are my top two when I recommend a client to read up on self-help.
You would also do well to ask your Reflexologist for some suggestions or "homework" between your professional treatments. The combination of self-help work and practitioner-administered sessions seems to be the most effective.
