I went to Cancun myself with a group of friends last summer and although the nightlife was great the mongering was definitely not.
I did find one place though, Pleasure Principal, in the hotel district near the Riu Palace. Paid $200 for 30 minutes, massage + full service, but wasn't worth it considering I can get better service and pricing in the states.
Better off picking up tourists at Coco Bongo or Senor Frogs if you ask me.

It is a top destination for young americans/tourists. It's just not a top destination for people looking for $20 for all night hookers.
I did see something interesting on another board recently...a place called Fantasy club in downtown a couple of blocks from the bus station. ~$100 USD/hour for takeout. Too much for many on this board but I would do it if the girl was hot. Wish I was going to Cancun soon so I could check it out and report.
