Weekend Workshop Ideas
I would check into (if you can) who the guests would be.
If it's all women then I think you can put together something easily...women like to share and talk.
A weekend workshop is two days - you need to know how many hours per day in order for you to write up your schedule.
One idea would be to have a woman's discovery or empowerment workshop - your topics to cover/discuss could be things like...letting go (clutter, memories, etc); using intuition, self-care and nurturance; creating healthy boundaries. Having activities and/or a guided meditation/visualization would be great.
One "class" that I did that was fun was a mini class about the chakras - I had made small fabric "spirit dolls" which we decorated with cloth, beads, sequins, feathers, bells, yarn, buttons - I had all kinds of things and colors - that represented aspects of ourselves or a particular chakra we wanted to focus on.
I did one guided meditation to balance the chakras - but you could do a discovery discussion and a meditation or balancing exercise for each chakra.
(the women that had made the dolls spent more time posing and taking funny pictures of the dolls than we spent making them - it was a hoot!)
The making things impulse I have is from many years as a Mom - I always had activities at my kids birthday parties where everyone made something to take home.
