Hi All
I received my certificate in Level 3 Swedish Massage last week - so am ready to start promoting my services!
During the past month, I have been busy getting leaflets printed to advertise my part-time business. Good website is [link=http://www.vistaprint.co.uk]www.vistaprint.co.uk[/link]
I've also designed at home an After Care Advice Leaflet and Client Record Cards. I have also designed a website using[link=http://www.freewebs.com]www.freewebs.com[/link]. There I used the facility of Easy Site Builder which provides its own templates etc.
I am insured by the FHT and am a member of the ICHT (International Council of Holistic Therapies) - very good rates!
I will be using our box room for the treatment room. It is small but I am able to fit in the massage couch, a trolley with oils etc, and a drawer cabinet for storage of leaflets, CD's etc, have a CD/radio to play soothing music. I have also put up two shelves which has a pot plant, some crystals and some reading material on massage that I used during my course.
I have decided to avoid the chest area due to the limited space in my treatment room - would this be ok? I have pushed the couch up against the wall (there is about a 2 inch gap) which leaves a bit more room for me to manouevre around the client i.e. left, right and end. Also I thought about carrying out the consultations in my lounge as its a relaxing room and a bit cleaner than the dining room/kitchen area/work space.
I am very excited abou the prospect of getting started and want to thank HP for all the support you gave me whilst on my course.
All the best to everyone who has qualified too.
Tracy
