Treating Cradle Cap

Hi

Im still pretty new when it comes to aromatherapy so im looking for help. I have a 9mth old and a 3 year old and both have craddle cap.
My youngest has it but its very mild but my 3 year old has it and its really bad. Its really thick and covers the full top of her head. Tried shampoos but they dont even touch it and shes complaining that it gets itchy.

So does anyone know of amy oils that i can blend that might help and use do you reccommend i use them.

Any other advice is welcome.

When my kids were babies and had craddle cap I used olive oil. Just rub it into the scalp and leave for a while say 30 minutes then see if you can lift it with your nail. If so then wash their hair as normal and hopefully after that a lot will of cleared, do this several times a week until it's cleared. Once it's all gone keep an eye out for any reacurrance and directly you see any use the olive oil again.

I used to use coconut oil on the scalp (which is solid, not an oil)

I just used to rub a little bit of baby oil into it and it just lifts off

My friend's children had this and I gave her a bottle of grape seed oil mixed with a few drops of lavender, she rubbed it into their scapls of an evening and it worked great she said. The Lavender oil helped them sleep too.

Please don't try and pick it off though, I've read horror storys of children having bald patches as it lifts the hair root too.
