traditional chinese med vs classical chinese med

I have a man stop by my day job (gas station) that picks up cigarettes every other day.
He apparently is a generalist for Orential Medicine and we usually small talk about it.
He says he practices "classical chinese medicine" which is why I dont understand half the stuff he talks about since I study traditional.
Can anyone tell me if classical is real or if he's just yanking my chain.

Yes, Classical Chinese Medicine is real. In my town, there are TCM acupuncturists and CCM acupuncturists, and although they have some similarities, they see themselves as very different. Here are some links:
