top, middle and base notes

I have to prepare my own theraputic index for my aromatherapy course and although I have some books, none of the ones I have state whether the oils are top, middle or base notes which I need to state in my index. I know there can be debate on which they are between authors so i have been told to use a minimum of 5 different authors.
I find it very difficult to get to the college library due to their opening hrs and my working hours so I need to buy some books and would appreciate if anyone could point me in the direction of books which quote the notes.
The bookshops I have been in do not stock anything which covers this although they are happy to order, but I don't know what to order!

unfortunately none of the books i have tell you which oils are which note....
i have a set of notes given to me by my college which does indicate which oils are which note....

One book that I refer to is called The Directory of Essential Oils by Wanda Sellar. It gives notes to the oils together with other useful information. The Renee Tanner book, " Aromatherapy Step by Step", is really good and it tells you the notes as well as lots of other information.
