I am in central ca - it takes me six hours each way to get to TJ. I calculted that it costs me a minimum of $500.00 just to enter zona norte. I will not do any illegal USA mongering, so Ca escorts / amps are not an option.

In my experieced opinion, Asia (Thailand and Philippines) is much cheaper than TJ - at least it is for me.

Then again,, I am schedualed for a rare TJ jaunt next week - and I have a Chicago Club chica who takes great care of me in addition to some SG's who I will tap on my 2 day excursion...

But my Philippines trip next month will be much more rewarding...

Brazil is WAY more than TJ.....if you check the latest conversion rate for Brazil the US dollar is slipping daily. I've never been to the Phillipines but I've heard stories about it and Thailand. Don't know if I want to go through the 24 hour plane ride and the 3-4K I'd have to spend if I was there for two weeks. The point I was trying to make about TJ is some of the BG's want 80.00 for a half hour. I personally only pay 60.00. But lets say they get 80.00 from these NEW mongers. Thats 80.00 to her, 12.00 for the room, 14.00 for the cab both ways, 8.00 to park, 20.00 for gas. Lets say you bang two chicas at that price, thats 226.00. For that price you CAN get a escort if you shop around or go down the street to an AMP which may actually be less, both of which.....if you do your homework there will be NO knock and with some BG's they only give you 18 minutes.....now thats not all of the BG's but some will rush you. Also, what is your time worth?? Its probably going to take you AT least 3 hours to go to TJ, you have to drive there, get to and from the Zona and cross back into the US(You can forget about it taking 3 hours on weekends or holidays because the border wait is 2 hours just to cross.....) Now you cant get two chicas in the US for 226.00 and there is usually a great selection in TJ, if your planning on just banging one chica than TJ is definitely the ticket. The bars are a great place to go and have a good time.......I'm just trying to make a point that rising costs are a factor........

Yes Sir... all true..... and a great thread with many valid observations. But if you have the time and money to hop on a plane to Asia, Brazil or somewhere else - then you are in for a treat. Any travel to a non Mexico destination - beware... TJ will not be the same. The service in Philippines will blow your ballz off... at least IMO.

Zona Norte prices are more than reasonable. When the US has a brothel where you can see all the providers available, talk to them and interview, discuss services, and have no fear of vice...well then maybe the Zona Norte will have to make some changes....truth is that guys pay $300 and up in the US and don't always get good service...almost any bar girl date will be better than 80% of the US providers will provide. SG's are more on par with US providers, and yes I know there are some that provide good service in the US...Zona Norte is not going away any time soon, and it will still thrive if the prices rise...hell look up and down the street and see who is buying pussy....Where the fuck else are they going to get laid?

I think its the inflation thing. You can still get SG's for 40.00 or less if you are Mexican. The price for trim will continue to go up not down. It can be a supply and demand thing. If there are a lot of chicas in the bar the price is obviously going to be LESS because there are more chicas than mongers. If it is Friday, Saturday night and there arent many chicas that particular week than you are not going to be able to negotiate or get less then what the chica quotes you as her price. The only thing that I fear is that the prices in the future will get close to the going rate in the US and then that may be the end of the Zona.........it is already getting close in the bars, some chicas want 80.00 for a half hour and if you add your time, the 12.00 for the room, gas, and parking......you may be able to go down the street and see a craigslist ho or even hit up an AMP.

Still what it cost for labor in mexico and what it cost in the united states is two different things. Mexico has price controls on all the main food commodities, mexicans do not have to worry about the price galging that they do in the United States every time the price of gas goes up. The government of Mexico still protects the poor everytime there is a little inflation by controlling what can be charged for certain food and rent.

Last you thing you are paying 11 peso to one dollar, in reality Mexico did what Boliva has done for years abd that is knock off zeros from their currency in order to keep the peso to dollar ratio down, and stop the run away printing of the peso. The current exchange for peso in reality is 11000 peso to one dolllar.

The chica's in Zona norte, even if they had one John every our for eight hours make more in one day, than a mexican doctor would make in a week. (Thats if you calculate that they are charging 60 dollars per trick)

Well I'm a monger that usually doesn't push the $50 dollar or below price, as I'm very happy paying $60 dollars or below. However, Monday I did pay $50 dollars for one full hour at this bar, but that bar had an exit fee, so really the price was $70 for one hour which is great. I generally don't ask for a bargain unless they ask for $100 dollars, sometimes I bargain if they ask at $80, and I do bargain with SGs but really to get them of take off all their cloths and offer me more positions.

Yes there is inflation but as long as the average weekly salary in Mexico is what a bar girl can make in one hour at Adelitas how much inflation pressure could there be in provider fees? I talk to Cancun circuit girls all the time in the Hong Kong bar, and they tell me what a high price piece of ass they are and how they command $200 or $300 in the resorts. I just tell them this isn't Cancun, that this is TJ, and I could get a girl as pretty as you for half the price, and they are usually willing to drop their price to at least $80 dollars, still to much in my opinion but I will pay it if I like them.

Resorts are nice but their pay for play business really isn't that much to write home about, sure the girls are pretty, but they charge a lot, and those places aren't that busy, and sometimes they are hard to fine and you have to ask a Taxi driver or read forums like these ones, which are dead sometimes a sign those places aren't that good?

Amigomio, now you really have me confused about the new generation mongers. Are you complaining he is paying too much, because he doesn't have a reference, or are they paying too little? Amigomio...perhaps in time inflation will cause the price of a session to go up. (But hopefully not to what is being charged in the resort cities.) I remember when it was easy to get a session for $40.00, today the going rate is $60.00. I think/hope that it will be a while before $80.00 is the going rate in the ZN.

Zona Norte was orinally for working class mexican men living in TJ. The tourista places were up on revolution. The thought that some poor mexican guy is working for ten to fifteen dollars a day, means that a trip to Zona norte would cost him about two and a half weeks worth of pay, just for about fifteen minutes of pleasure. This sounds sad. It almost like Europeans coming to Nevada and doubling the prices in the nevada brothels because they can afford to raise the price.
When I was living across the border I was making about a dollar above minimum wage. The Zona Norte was a treat because at minimum wage in San Diego the dollar does not go far. I would hate to see it get so expensive that someone else making low wages could not efford it. The Zona norte plays a special part to a man that does not have much, by allowing him for just the moment to feel like he has something.

I think it is a combination of factions. I agree that confussion over passports has hurt TJ, but I think it is more than that alone that's hurting tourism. Several mongers (who know a passport isn't needed) have told me they've stopped going after a police shakedown. I even know people who've never mongered but used to buy medication in Tijuana who will no longer cross the border due to bad experiences with the police.

Personally I would rather see Baja california get a sex Resort just like they have in Thailand, Phillipines and the Dominican Republic. You pay one price for all your eats, all your boarding, all your recreation and you get to change your escort every twenty four hours. Baja California would be perfect because a client could meet a Bus at the border, the bus would take them to the resort.

Dont kid yourself...Nuevo Laredo has a similar price structure at Boystown and I dont hear any quality complaints over there- or did we ruin that too?
