Tiger Balm

Hi Guys,

I've read a few bits and pieces about Tiger Balm and it sounds interesting stuff.

Has anyone here used it? If so, any ideas how I can try some out?

When I was training, one of the students got tennis elbow, and the tutor gave her some Tiger Balm to use which was effective. I've also had Monkey Balm used on my shoulders during massage. Many good health shops sell it.

I swear by Tiger Balm! Have been using it for years, hubby introduced it to me when I was living in Thailand. You can buy the original stuff in Boots in pots - costs around £4-5 but last for ages. I use it for headaches, neck tension, tired legs - everything.

Best thing since sliced bread if you ask me!

We sell it at work. We charge £3.50 for it. A lot of people rave about it.

When Andrew and I were in the South of France recently we had a Tai Massage on the beach and at the end of it she (dragged) us up off the sun lounger and rubbed it on our foreheads and massaged our heads. Bloomin eck. Sure gives you a kick back to reality.

I had a look in Boots yesterday lunchtime, I couldn't find it - where do they put it?
I looked around the skin care section, the herbal remedy counter and then ran out of lunchhour!

I'm probably being really thick and couldn't see for looking [&:][sm=banghead.gif]

I've also heard wonderful things about tiger balm, a friend of mine also swears by it, and its all natural.

Not sure Boots would have it? We got our supply from local 'cheapie' shop of all places. If you have a problem getting it I could send you some, it is only small so the postage would be fluppence.

Hi, I've always bought mine in Boots as I know it's the original Tiger Balm and not some of the copies you can get in markets etc. I can't remember the area and my local Boots tend to change the layout of the shop around every time I go in there[]

Just ask an assistant, I'm sure she will help.

I bought some Red Tiger Balm from Boots this week - £5.99 I think. I thought I would use it on clients, but have been using it on my neck, shoulders and lower back most days and it's really effective, especially for shoulder tension(also find it clears a foggy head!)

Hi

I love Tiger Balm, have been meaning to get some for ages but finally did and I love it. I used it on a pulled back muscle and it got rid of it over about 24hrs, it is amazing stuff!

THere are 3 tyoes, yello (or clear) red and black, they can be mixed but not the red and black. I have known about it for years as my old Kung Fu master used it when doing massage! The red type is great for muscle aches etc! not sure about the other two.

Check in moss pharmacy as well as they sell it in there! or else you may have to ask in boots as some don't sell it!
