I am a student of Acupuncture, I want to compliment my Acupuncture with a massage therapy centered around the meridians and Qi/Ki flow. It's with Tuina Massage, or Shiatsu. Tough decision for me. I am currently enrolled in Chinese Acupuncture, it's my first term, but if I choose to follow Shiatsu, I'll switch to Japanese Acupuncture, as it would be confusing learning the Japanese and Chinese terms for them.
My question is, what is the difference between Shiatsu and Tuina?
Thanks.
