Hi there/ Sawadee Ka!
Can anyone help me at all. I studied 75hours of Thai Massage through the TMC in Chiang Mai last year. I love it! I also done a further 15hours with a woman who was certificated to teach through the Old Medicine School, Wat Pao, Bangkok.
My question is this, none of this seems to be recognised in this country. I cannot afford the cost of the Thai Massage courses here to get the 'recognised' qualification & therefore insurance.
SO....is there anyway around this? Could I start practising & get insured if I offered it as Thai Style Massage?! Should I just speak to insurers?
I feel really deflated that I have this skill I cannot use & that I spent alot of energies in learning this because I am passionate about it yet cannot use it here.
The TMC certificates are recognised in the USA & OZ...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
