Text Books

Hi There,

I was going to put this in the student forum but thought it should go here instead, I am going to be attending Cortivia in the fall and was wondering if any students that have went there recently could tell me what text books Cortivia uses? I would really like to get these books early so I can study up and maybe be familiar with things when school comes around. I know the books are part of the tuition but for me starting research early is better. Thanks in Advance !!!

Which Cortiva school are you going to? Though I heard rumor they would eventually integrate some of the different schools curriculum into a more uniform "Cortiva" program, as far as I know the different schools they bought are still using their own texts, curriculum, etc.

I graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, and aside from the schools manual, we used Trail Guide to the Body and Structure and Function of the Human Body by Martini and somebody... (I can't remember exactly). Since we received those with our manuals, I'd actually look to spending money on something complimentary to the materials you'll already be getting. I didn't have one, but I recall a couple classmates having anatomy coloring books they found helpful (I just chose to color the illustrations in my manual LOL ).

Hey MF -- could you call the school and find out which texts you will need?
