[stupid people suck]

I'm going to be taking a class this week on Table Top Thai massage. Does anyone here have any experience with it? Anny tips/advice?

Oh wow! That is so great!
I have also looked into a Table Thai class.

So - I don't have a lot of experience with Thai stretching...
I have one friend who does this on occassion - she learned IN Thailand! Her stretching is awesome.
And I learned the Thai Herbal Compress massage which incorporates some Thai stretching and whenever I do it (very infrequently) each person always comments on how wonderful the stretches are.

I'm sure it will be a great addition to your repetoire of skills...
you can use the stretches in your regular massage OR do a fully clothed session with just the Thai stretching.

I have a Swe-Thai tape. Never watched it, but it is on my list of things to do... for something like 8 years now. Obviously I need to get with it.

Please let us know how you end up liking the class, so more of us can use them as CEU's in the future if they are good.

I LOVE Thai work, it is awesome. Even if you don't end up doing whole sessions, there are lots of tips you can use in everyday massage. Everyone loves what I incorporate into my usual massages.

Yes, I took Margie's class and she was a wonderful instructor. I've been practicing this weekend, I did one each on Sat, Sun and Mon. Funny how it's never hard to find volutuneers when you need to practice a new technique.

I am so psyched about this that I am considering going to Thailand with Margie this year. She takes one group a year to Thailand to learn traditional Thai.

Margie also teaches Swe-Thai so it's most likely her video that you have. I haven't seen that one but I bought the Table Top video so I would have something to refresh my mind after the class was over.

I loved having the work done on my in the class and so far all of my clients are also lovin' it. I don't think I would ever just do Thai but I can certainly see adding it to my list of services. The stretching is incredible and I love that I get a workout done at the same time.

I just looked and it is Margie Meshew's tape I have. I'll go ahead and pull it out next week and give it a look. I need to get back to personal study anyway!
