As the threat of another government shutdown looms, the Onondaga School of Massage in Syracuse is offering free massages for federal workers.
This will happen in the Student Massage Clinic on Friday, February 15th from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Syracuse campus is located at 719 E. Genesee Street. The massages are for 50 minutes. Federal workers are asked to book appointments in advance because space is limited. The workers will also be required to show proof of federal employment.
There could be another government shutdown next week. Congress has until February 15th to reach an agreement with the White House on a budget deal. According to Onondaga School of Massage, the free clinic for federal workers will happen regardless of the outcome.
To make an appointment, workers can call the school at 315-424-1159.
