Has anyone gone as a patient to the SIOM Clinic...and would you share your experience...for the Massage Therapy/stress clinic/accupunture...
Ok...I'm really looking for a review on the Swedish Institute of Massage in NYC...not any advice on types of treatments...thanks...
...reviews as a patient there not as a student...
 
My massage has a certificate in Swedish message and deep tissue, and more. She is wonderful!
I never had accupuncture done, but from what I read what it really does is dull the nerve ending for a while - that's why you don't feel the pain. I'm not sure that is good, but many people do use it.
I don't know why you are thinking of going to this clinic, but if you have a major problem I think I would look into someone who has a certificate in the sports type message, etc. and maybe physical therapy for that. They do the deeper muscle massage & really know a lot about the body.
