Swedish Body Massage Course Starts Tonight.

Hi eveyone

I am really excited, tonight I start a fastrack Swedish Body Massage Course at my local college. (Fast-track as it is 3 nights a week for 5 weeks)

I have waitied since January for this course and I am really looking forward to doing it. Would love to hear from anyone who had just completed the Swedish Body Massage course, was it hard, was it has good as you hoped etc etc?

Good luck with this - I didn't find it hard - infact I used to look forword to it for most weeks as it was a guranteed free massage each week....

I'm not sure what the exam consists of now, I did mine last year and we did not really have to sit an external exam but only an internal one.

Hiya everyone

Well last night went great, the tutor is excellent, the course is actually over 8 weeks not 5 like I first stated and there is an exam in December. Because I have covered A & P in my other course, I don't have to do the assignments for this one. (Yippeee) And yes it is the VTCT course.

We did the leg massage last night, I was a little uncomfortable at having to show off my fat, stretch marks and cellulite so I opted out, but I saw the other ladies really enjoying their massage and they had the same, so next time, I will be getting my kit off and enjoying the massage along with them.

Don't worry about people "seeing" you! I know this is a common concern, but in my experience I don't think about what someone has/hasn't rather I'm fascinated that everyone can be so different. Also, if we just practised on perfect bodies we'd be a bit confused when we hit reality. You are actually doing everyone a great service in letting them practise on you!
